35-year-old Yulia is a psychologist who works for a helpline. She is good at her job and has many regular callers who are amazed at her ability to understand their problems and assume that it must be down to the fact that Yulia has a very happy and fulfilled life. This, however, is not the case. In reality, Yulia is alone, and while she helps solve other people’s problems, she is incapable of dealing with her own and alleviating her own solitude. This all changes, however, one evening when she gets a call from a little boy called Danya, worried about his father who hasn’t come home. With no-one else to turn to, Danya asks Yulia for help and, despite contravening the call centre’s rules, she agrees. Yulia soon finds out that Danya’s father, Anton has been arrested for theft and murder. Danya is convinced that his father has been set up and asks Yulia to try to find out what really happened. However, in order to gain access to Anton in custody, Yulia has to pose as his fiancée. Anton tells Yulia that he has been framed and that he can expose the real culprits but he cannot do it from behind bars and furthermore he cannot do it alone. Yulia agrees to help.
