When handsome Maksim has a dance with Masha at a nightclub, everyone agrees that they would make a lovely couple. Their meeting leaves a strong impression on Maksim who is sure that their paths will cross again. This happens the next day, when Masha walks into Maksim’s recruitment agency in search of job.
Maksim offers Masha a job, and, during some months of her employment, begins to fall in love with her. However, just as Maksim is about to propose to Masha, she suddenly disappears. After a desperate search, Maksim finally finds Masha in her hometown where she has a daughter and has just married to Yevgeniy. Masha tells Maksim that although she loves him, her daughter is seriously ill and the treatment she requires is only available in America, so she has no other choice but to go. Maksim asks his friend, a doctor for a second opinion and it reveals that Yevgeniy has been lying about Masha’s daughter’s illness in order to trick her into marrying him. With the truth uncovered and Evgeniy exposed, Masha and Maksim are free to start a new life.
