On 19 April 2008 TV Movie “Extraterrestrial” was honored by the Grand Remi Award, the highest prize at the International Film and Video Festival WorldFest Houston

On July 16, 2008, a solemn Grand Remi Award prize-giving ceremony was held at American Center under the Embassy of the United States in Russian Federation.

The highest prize of 41st WorldFest Houston International Film& Video Festival was given to Vlad Riashyn, CEO of Star Media Group, for the film “Extraterrestrial”. 

WorldFest makes emphasis on independent filmmaking offering unengaged forum for directors and producers. Special attention is paid to new films. The projects represented in the WorldFest program get strict professional estimation and are recorded in the catalogue.

Among WorldFest’s findings that became famous worldwide names of Coen brothers, George Lucas, David Lynch, Paul Mazursky, Robert Rodriguez, Ridley Scott, Steven Spielberg, Oliver Stone and lots of others may be mentioned.
